I'm really thinking about attending Bryant and stratton, but i'm also a little nervous about it. Has anyone on this site attended, and graduated for the program? after graduation was hard finding employement? what was the program like? do they care about their students? Is anyone currently attending? Also what exactly is the internship at the final semester? do you guy somewhere of your choice? Where are the clinicals located? (i plan on attending the eastlake campus)

Don't do it. You are better off to go to community college and bridge into a BSN program. We circular file apps from there.
What does circular file mean? and also what is the reasoning for your answer? Do you feel the program doesn't prepare the nurses?

Circular file = trash can
First off, the cost. It is around or over $500 a credit hour I believe. Second, if you start the program and don't like it, etc none of the credits transfer anywhere and you have to start over again. Third, high turn over of staff...speaks
volumes. Fourth...not a high passing rate on state boards.
Hospitals like to see a college program grad vs a college in a box grad, especially if you want to get into the bigger hospitals, of which many want a BSN. I am not sure how many of their credits would transfer to a BSN program if you decide to go on, you may end up taking more classes.
And I'm not sure on how their internship works or where you can do that, but I know none of the big hospitals by us take their
students, so if you have a speciality interest such as NICU you won't be doing in that type of unit.
Look into community college and bridge programs. Believe me, you will be better off education wise and money wise.
do you know anything about the program at Lakeland? and thank you for the info.

Lakeland has a solid program. Long waiting list. Kent State also has a good ADN and BSN program.
