Brookhaven Fall 2019

Hey Everyone!

I know it's super early, but I want to start a thread for everyone getting ready to apply in February for Brookhaven's nursing program in Fall 2019!

This semester I am taking microbiology and ethics at Richland College. I'm also taking pathophysiology and pharmacology online. I've done my HESI and my Critical Thinking exam as well! Hopefully this week I can get my Hep B booster because my titer came back negative :(

How is everyone else doing on classes and the exams?

I can't wait to apply!

    Hey! I am preparing for the February deadline as well! I am currently taking pharm and chem. I plan to see if ethics and path happen to be available during the Wintermester or Flex term so I can squeeze them in, lol. I have all the other support and prereq courses done.

    I've already taken the HESI and critical thinking exam - do you happen to know if we can retake the critical thinking exam and use the better score? Just want to see if I can score higher if I take it in 2019. I had the Brookhaven nurse sign off all on my immunizations yesterday. I have all of those completed aside from a meningitis shot. I have to get it redone since it's been over 5 years since I had it. Do you know when the Dosage and Calc workshop will reopen? I've been checking ecampus for weeks but nothing new has opened up.

    I am sooo sorry it took me so long to reply! They got rid of the critical thinking exam!

    That's okay! I haven't logged on in a while anyway! I saw that! They added a 5 year limit on the science coursework, or so I heard. I'm no longer applying because I was accepted to the El Centro program in late Nov. and am halfway through first semester. Good luck at Brookhaven!
