Brookhaven Fall 2010

Also...does everyone know that Brookhaven is only accepting 40 applicants this application period...same for Spring 2010. Mountain view is still not taking on new students. This gets me so frustrated because with 30 pts I was sure to get in with 70 empty spots to fill...but now with 40? Since I know last time the cut off was around 31 something with 40 openings...my 30 pts is not going to be good enough...They're also talking about possibly adding 10 more spots to Brookhaven but who knows, everything is always changing with them.

Anyone applying to Brookhaven for Fall 2010? This will be my second time to apply. I think I will have 31 points. Not sure if that is good enough. I know last semester it wasn't and now they aren't accepting at Mountain View, so I assume it's going to be even more competetive than it was last time.

i will appy too....just havent taken the HESI yet...im nervous!

The Hesi isn't too bad. The part that messed me up was the A&P portion - I haven't taken those classes in about 8 years. I decided at the last minute that I am going to retake the Hesi. So I plan to schedule a test for the week.

Alum08, did you retake the Hesi and did the score boost your 31 pts? I also decided to retake my HESI last minute too and it sure did pay off big because it boosted my points from 30 to 32.89! I am more confident now. This is my third time applying so I CAN'T not get in this time.

Hi there! I don't know what I was thinking - for some reason I thought I had more points that I did! I did retake the Hesi and scored higher and now have 30 points even. I also applied at Midwestern State.

I'm hoping they let more applicants in this time (50 instead of 40.) Fingers crossed!!

When will we find out if we got in? Is it the March 18 date or April 1st?

March is when they tell you how many points you have. You have the chance to dispute it if your points are wrong. Then in April you will find out if you get in.
