I asked about financial aid during my interview and was told that accepted students will receive one email with their acceptance and a second email with more information including financial aid package. All of this will be mailed as well.

Sadly I was never given an interview so no chance to ask LOL but thank you for this info! Did they happen to say when they send that out? I won’t know if I want to accept their acceptance without knowing aid and it says we have to accept by March 1?

I just received an email back saying they are still finalizing scholarships and plan to send them out soon. He said if you applied for FAFSA you can expect a 20,500 Unsubsidized loan but need to fill out the graduate student (new) enrollment form to have that added to you. We are also encouraged to apply for the graduate plus loan.

I got an email back about the timeline. They said it could be as early as March 1st or as late as one week into the program ?

Hi! I’m so happy I found this thread. I was recently waitlisted for the direct entry DNP for FNP. I’m holding still out hope. Does anyone know the chances of getting off of the wait list? Also I know we are considered for the masters if we don't make it into DNP does anyone know how to get an update on that? Will they just tell us or do we need to let them know that we are interested in that?

People will only get off the waitlist if the applicants that were accepted don’t accept the offer

I got something about a personalized admitted students page but no email separately about a scholarship. Did you get a separate email?

Yes, I received a separate letter.

I didn’t do a single thing either. We’re in the same boat! Let me know what you find out and vice versa ?

I received a separate scholarship letter today. Did you get one, too?

Where? Just a regular email? Would you mind telling me the wording?

Just FYI. I spoke to graduate affairs earlier today. They said they release scholarship awards usually 1 week after the acceptance email. They will be posted to the portal and we will be notified by email only if we get funding.  “If you don’t receive an email within 2 weeks, you can assume you did not get a scholarship.”
