Boces Dress code?

Hello I'm an LPN student at the boces program. My teacher said that piercings have to be taken out for clinical but my nose piercing will close up.Would it be a danger to cover them with bandaids? When I cover them with makeup they're invisible but I've heard of that being dangerous incase the patient pulls on it.With anyone with experience with a strict dress code do they actually go around checking every part of you for clinical? Its not like bandaids aren't allowed but I'm not sure.Any advice please?
