board meeting

There is a board meeting for discipline taking place next week in Southern California. It's close to me so I was thinking about checking it out.

Has anyone gone to one of these even though you're not on the agenda? I wanted to ask a question pertinent to my probation but at the same time I don't want to place unnecessary attention on me. Like is there a Q&A time for the general public or would I just be wasting my time if I went?

I'm from a different state but can't you just call them and ask your question? If that's pretty much the only reason you want to go I would try calling them first to ask your question.

I don't like talking to my probation monitor unless it's absolutely necessary and the last time I tried to reach the board they directed my call to my probation monitor. So yeah I'm trying to get some direct answers from the source and I figured the best way to do that is by going to a board meeting.
