BMCC NURSING PROGRAM FALL 2021

im applying for the BMCC to do their nursing program but I’ve seen on the processs I’ve to do some pre-requisite courses. How does it goes? I need some more info about it.

I'm applying for the fall 2021 night/weekend program. Done with all pre-reqs, A's in all except Chem A- ?. Taking Bio 420 this Spring.

hey yes there are prerequisites. Advisers might be more helpful because things change now and then if you are just starting. There are 5 minimum prerequisites. 

Does anyone here know that we will be given paper and a calculator for the math part of the exam for sure?

Yes I’m just starting. Do you know of any international student who’s just done with prequisites?

I’m hearing HESI Exams & Kaplan test, could you please distinguish the 2 & when is it done.

At BMCC they ask you to take the HESI A2 only when you are done with all prerequisites and if your GPA is high. Usually 3.6, but changes. There are many international students at BMCC. I am sure if you reach out they will help you. For now, the info in this thread might seem confusing. But it is never a bad idea to investigate in advance. Make sure you do good in all the prerequisites for now, and do not let the school or anyone intimidate you on how hard it is. Everything is possible ?

I have no knowledge about the Kaplan but I gather there are similar. I am not able to answer that though

Yes if you got good grades.

Hello Eve, My name is Jessica Ayala. I just finished my last PCi class and I have a PCI GPA of 3.82. Do you believe this GPA will be high enough to be accepted into the nursing program. I have an A in chem, anatomy 1 and Psychology , A- in English and a B+ in math. Thanks So much
