Blessing in disguise???

Ok this might turn out to be a long post, but I am so frustrated.

I have been planning on moving back to Toledo, thought I had it all worked out.

Two weeks ago I had interviewed at a HD clinic- Interview went great, was told I had the job and that I would most likely start orientation 1/19. Found an apartment, pending on the landlord varifying the job (my soon to be ex has ruined my credit- part of the reason for the move)

So this past week I called the HD clinic just to touch bases with them, and varify the start date. The unit manager informed me that due to the fact that the headhunter who found me the job not complying with their chain of command, they would not be able to hire me- I was like oh great when were you going to tell me. :(

Ok so back to square one- no job, no apartment :o

Lesson learned- ditch the headhunter- she's more hassle than worth.

So I fax my resume to Toledo Hospital and call the nurse recruiter there, she set me up an interview for this comming Thursday. It sounds like they have a good deal with relocation/sign on bonuses ect.

Where as the HD clinic had nothing.

Any of you out there work for Promedica....... Can you tell me about them???

Know any Toledo Landlords with apartments available- that are willing to look past what my soon- to be ex has done to my credit??

Thanks -KYMSRN

There are tons of places in Toledo to rent. Might want to live someone away from the hospital. Some of it is nice and some of it is not. Nice hospital.

Cardiac step- down and Neuro/ Trauma

I have decided on Neuro Trauma

I worked at Toledo hospital as a Nursing Assistant while in school...very good experience. I am pretty sure trauma Neuro is on the 9th floor?? There are some EXCEPTIONAL nurses on that unit who took care of my hubby- I hope you enjoy your new job.

As for apartments... there are some near the hosp- very expensive and not that great. If you look in Sylvania (on Main street) there are some smaller but nice apts there that the landlord is pretty flexible. Also try Noneman realty.

I wish you the best.:)
