Blended learning program

Has anyone heard of this program they are connected with excelsior but they have classes once a week with an instructor to keep you on the key facts and they also have a clinical prep... Its open LPNs, Resp. Therapist, and Paramedics..

Never heard of it.

Specializes in Psych, LTC, Acute Care.

I think that is the "Distant Learning" progam. They are the middle man. You pay more for their services. You can do it by going straight through EC.

I've heard of something similar.. There was one school like that in the city near me and they had regular "classes" then you had to sign up for the EC exam and take it to move to the next class.. they also helped you prepare for the CPNE. It cost 10K OVER what EC charges because you still have to pay EC's fees/exam costs ect..

You can buy all sorts of study guides and stuff from ebay and there is an EPN network to chat with fellow students so it is not necessary to go through a middle man..

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

Middleman = not necessary. There are a lot of online study groups, and ways to find a study buddy for free.
