I'm taking Biology 110 - Cell & Molecular Biology.
I start on August 26. Next WEEK! I'm excited and nervous, but at least it's the only class I'm taking and I can give it my full attention. It's been longer for me. I haven't been in a college classroom for close to 18 years.:imbar

I'm in too. Taking biology for health sciences majors. Basically it's just intro to bio, but people who aren't majoring in the field take environmental biology or something like that.
Anyway, I'm in the same boat, havn't taken biology since my freshman year of college. Almost 20 years ago. I've heard my professor is really good, but hard. (based on reviews from ratemyprofessor.com).

I'm taking Intro. Biology, Nutrition and Human Growth and Development beginning next week. It's been about 15 years since I finished my Bachelors. It seems like it's been a while for at least several of us:wink2:
my last biology class was when i was a freshman h.s has been 14yrs ago. needless to say, i am excited and nervous back then i didn't do too hot in bio. i think it is going to be different this time around. all other classes so far have. i'm taking bio, human growth and development online, college algebra, and lifetime fitness. so good luck to everyone, if anyone wants to be study buddies let me know. thanks:D

I too am taking Bio this semester. I'm nervous
Ahhh! This is harder than I thought it was going to be!
Lots of Chemistry is involved in molecular biology and it's been way too long since my last chemistry class.
I feel like I'm so far behind and it's only the 3rd week. Anyone else?

I felt same. Yesterday, I had lab test on histology and integumentary system. It was . Today, I am I wish I had studied a little more.
I am going to my 2nd class on Friday and I am still really nervous, teacher is very specific in what she wants (not saying that is a bad thing) homework was to read a chapter and I was so confused by page 2, it was like I was in a chemistry class - I had to double check to make sure I was in Bio!!!

Hi!
I'm starting Intro to Bio. on the 22nd of Sep. and I'm so glad there is a study group for it! Its a two-hour class w/ lab and the text book looks hard so I'm already stressed! Good luck every one! :)
i am sooo glad i'm not the only one thinking this class is alot harder than i oringinally thought it would be! good luck everyone!
If anyone needs a refresher on the chemistry part, I'm so glad I bought the book "An Introduction to Chemistry for Biology Students" . It's really helping me a lot. It's a workbook that takes you step by step through all the atoms, molecules, neutrons, protons, etc. and puts them in simple terms so you can understand the concepts. I think it should be required for anyone taking a biology course, especially on the molecular level.
