bio121 doable over the summer?

is BIO 121 over the summer (6-7 week session) doable?? or is it too much information and better to be taken during the semester?

What is Bio 121? I took Micro this past summer. It was 6 weeks of hell, but I got an A. It's doable if that's all you have to do.

I took General Biology (121) over a 6 week period in the summer. 4 nights a weeks, 4 hours per night. 1 exam, 1 quiz, 1 lab/week. Throw a paper in there as well. It was a lot of work, but if you manage your time well, it can be done. I have 131 now (A&P), and it would be tough over 6 weeks.

"Doable" depends on you and your schedule. Are you a single mom working 2 jobs with no family around? Then no, it's probably not doable, given the sheer time needed for class AND studying. I will be taking Micro and the lab next summer. I do not work but I will have my 2 small kids home with me. Will it be enjoyable, pleasurable or the least bit fun? Heck no techno, but it will be doable.

Good luck!!!

I agree with Chris99mu. I don't work, am married, but I have no kids. You just have to remain on top of it every day. Good luck with micro, Chris99mu. The labs are very interesting, and so is the material. It's just a lot of work to do in that short amount of time. Our instructor said the only difference with her summer class and regular semester class was one less quiz, so she didn't cut us much slack! Good luck!
