Is this worth the money it costs for the course?

Don't know....How much does it cost? I taught Billing and Coding out of a textbook to MA students a few years ago. (Taught myself at the same time!) The ICD 9 codes were very interesting and the students thought so as well. This is a great skill to have if you ever want to work in a doctor's office. Currently I am learning MDS and the coding comes in handy when inputting new admissions. Go for it!
1500 dollars.
OMG! Unless you get college credits, forget it. You can buy a coding book etc. :uhoh21:

My friend definitely paid the 1000+ dollars for an online course and certification deal. Now She can't get hired because they could hire someone as a secretary for less money and just train them, instead of paying her more because she is already trained and certified.
Though I know that my best friends sister does it in Ohio for a living at home. Don't know how she was trained or anything.
It is a Risk. I would rather take a real class (community colleges offer them) or buy the books and learn it yourself
