Best app's?

Hi

I am new to HH. I have a Ipod touch and wondering what applications I should get.

Thanks

I do not have the ipod touch but when I had a palm I relied on epocrates extensively. Hope it's in apple format because it's great! Med checker, interaction checker, average cost of meds, etc.

I have an iPhone and just got ICD-9 Pocket, ipharmacyFREE, iconnect-NE. These are all free apps. The iconnect-NE is for storing patient contact info/notes/pictures/etc.

I just got a IPod Touch and am looking for some apps too!

Medscape has a Free App...once downloaded, don't need internet connection, but will need internet connection at times to update app.

Epocrates has a Free App...once downloaded, don't need internet connection either, but will need to update though.

Doesn't give a lot of good patient education on meds...would like to find a reasonable drug reference that does that.

Those are the only medical ones I have so far...would love to find some other ones that are useful!

I didn't find the ICD-9 Pocket, ipharmacyFREE when I searched for them...found a similar ICD-9 program for free...haven't downloaded it though. The ipharmacy is $0.99 now...wondering if it's better than medscape and/or epocrates??
