My best friend told me to chill out!

So, the day before my NCLEX (I took it yesterday), I got a people magazine and when I finished my NCLEX I enjoyed myself a mimosa!

I just found out I Passed! The best advice I can give is do what works for YOU! People say not to study for three days before the test because you get stressed out, well I studied until I walked in to take the test (this is what I have always done)! Also, before I walked into the test I put on a good fast beat song and sang at the top of my lungs, this increases oxygen to the brain and really makes you feel good (try it when you are just driving around by yourself and see how you feel:) ). I studied only the test taking strategies once again the day before the test and went to know the test center and also shopping afterwards. Came back, did some house chores and went to bed early..On the day of the test, 'cause my test was 8AM, I left 7AM..Found out I passed right now! hope this helps

THis may sound corny, but something you can start doing right now is to pay attention to your tv. When the advertisments come on for medications listen to them carefully....listen to the side effects and precautions that they talk about. I know, it sounds silly, but I got a lot of pharm questions that we didn't even talk about in school. BUT i remebered hearing the commercials on tv and believe it or not i was able to figure out the answer. It would have been much more difficult if hadn't seen that info on the tv. good luck to you!!
