Being accepted into nursing school

Nursing Students School Programs

I will be attending the university of north Alabama in the fall of 2017. I am wanting to get into nursing school. But I am worried because I have made a few C's. I took my whole freshman year of college while I was still in high school and made 2 C's in English and a 75 in History. I am planning on retaking my history class because I know I can do better. Do you think I can still get into nursing school with the two c's in english

Best to ask an academic advisor at the nursing school of your choice for an accurate answer. There are many variables involved in nursing school acceptance.

My school only cared about the GPA of hard sciences. Don't waste your time re-taking classes until you know exactly what your desired nursing program looks for.

Many nursing programs only calculate GPA off of core pre-reqs. Before retaking anything, check to see if you even have to. If anything, your English classes would be more vital than history class, then again the program may not care about the grade in those classes.
