Hi everyone. Does anyone know how bridging applications is going to work this year? I started the RPN program in September last year and because of covid everyone is behind a semester and I'll be finishing my program late August of 2021. I was planning on applying for the bridging program that starts September 2021 but I don't know if I even qualify. I highly doubt I'll be an RPN before September starts unless I do my licensing exam as soon as I'm done the program. And I also want to stay in the Toronto area for school. Any advise? Should I just wait a year and then apply? Did anyone with similar concerns message any of the schools and asked what the September 2021 year is going to look like?

You probably won't be able to make it for September 2021 because I think the school needs to send in the names of people graduating the nursing program to CNO. Also if the results of the exam takes the same period of time when I wrote it 4 years ago, it'll probably take another 2 months. The bridging programs will probably ask you to send in proof that you passed the exam before the start date of the program. Earliest might be Jan 2022.
You should email the schools to double check because things do change.

McMaster wants applicants for Sept. 2021 to write the exam by June 30 and be registered by August 15. Deadlines at other schools will most likely be similar, but ask.

I would relook at this, they and mohawk changed their requirement so you have to write your cpnre by May 31st, which means for sept 2021...momac and comac are out if you are not finished until this Spring thanks to covid.

Yeah, Conestoga didn't update the date until recently. I was pretty upset when I found out. I booked a CASPer test that there's no point in doing now.
