I feel at crossroads. I am a med tech in a lab and my husband and I are confortable financially. The thing is that I am not happy with my career. I do not really like what I do. I feel like a lab rat and I am just a worker that is not appreciated.
my dream is to become a nurse and for that me and my husband will sacrifice a lot- time, money, savings. Basically what we got going for us in 1 year will be gone and like he said it will take us three years to be where we are now.this worried me. If you were in my situation would you pursue nursing. Would you do this again? Is this a great career in your opinion?

You may want to set up an opportunity to shadow a nurse. You may be surprised by what you see as the grass isn't always greener, and some nurses have the same complaints about their jobs that you do about your current one. Only you will be able to decide if changing careers will be worth it.
