BCATs

Hi my name is Laura and I am an ER nurse in Va. I need to take the BCAT exam. Does anyone know where I can find the test or how to study for it?

Maybe I'm a little ignorant but what is the BCAT exam? Is that the exam for new hires?

It's BKAT -- Basic Knowledge Assessment Tool. If you find a copy, it's not legal -- those exams are closely guarded! :) There is some info and a few sample questions here: ED BKAT. I had to take the ED BKAT at the end of my ED Nursing Fellowship; it wasn't terrible.
