Baylor Irving

Does anyone know anything about the working conditions at Baylor Irving? Feel free to PM me if you'd rather not post.

I personally don't know of any nurses that work there, but it is part of the Baylor system and I have always heard good things about the Baylor hospitals. I think it is unfair to judge a hospital on what one or two nurses say. Most hospitals employ a lot of nurses and working conditions can vary greatly from unit to unit. It depends on who is managing the unit and the "culture" of the unit. If you interested in working there go in person and check it out and talk to the managers and staff nurses. I think every hospital has it's pro's and cons. I think it's what you make of it personally. There are some nurses that are very negative and it doesn't seem to matter what hospital they work at they will find something negative to say about it.

Good luck!

I have not heard any bad things about it. Clean, not very busy and the workers are more like family bc it is a small close knit hosptial. U might need to no some spanish bc irving has an increasing number of hispanics

I'm pretty sure the nurses wear all white. Otherwise, I've heard good and bad about the place. I think it's pretty much like anywhere else: depends on the area, the people, and the agenda of the person telling you the story.
