Oh call them, what was your first specialty choice? Because they are calling now for specialties.

I wanted ICU but i not sure what going on with my application because still in screening process. Maybe they will call later for med surgical i guess. What was your first choice?

ICU too, call HR because they told they will be calling for specialties until the 12 of this month.

Did you called then and got scheduled for an interview? Because i was told that they call the intwr and then the external. I will call tomorrow morning and see what they said.

Yeah call them and tell them that none has call you to review the application so you would like to know if they are still going over applications.

So i was told that they still screening the applications., so maybe they are a little backup.

Oh ok good luck!

Hi Everyone,

I spoke with HR last week and this is what I was told:

For the August 2017 cohort they really only have positions for "multi-specialty" units (aka cardiology, step-down, oncology, postpartum, etc). Baptist has a transition program where current employees get first pick to transfer to the specialty areas, so unfortunately these positions are slim and this time around we will only get med-surg and MAYBE a small chance on a specialty interview. They should be calling sometime next week to schedule interviews for med-surg units for the week of the 19th.

Any news ??

Hello Everyone,

I applied for the august versant as well and today I received a phone call from HR. I have an interview next week for a med surg centralized staffing position. I was told that all the specialty positions are filled (due to their baptist scholars and current employees applicants). I am nervous as a new nurse to take on this position because i was told that this position is a floater nurse. Does any one know more information about this position? please share .. Thanks friends :)
