No I didnt apply to MDC. I did my AA there. I didnt to MDC because I wanted to do by BSN.

One of my friends got her interview for next week, so I wonder when they will let us know. Probably first week of July/ mid July right?

As an update: I was accepted in the program. I start now in Fall 2013.

1. This scholarship program is only available for NSU or Barry nursing students (No longer offered at MDC) starting in the Fall Semester. (Not offered in Spring)

2. You apply for this scholarship program after you are accepted in the nursing program.

3. There is an interview portion. (And yes this program is very competitive.)

5. This scholarship covers only tuition.

6. For more information please contact the school of your choice (NSU or Barry).

7. I did have volunteer experience (health care and non health care setting) and a GPA of 3.8.

Okay well I had my interview on June 18 and got a phone call from Baptist on June 27... it was really fast. I went last week Thursday to sign papers.... what about you?

Wow that was fast! How exciting! I did my interview before June 15th their taking a lot longer with Barry lol. Hopefully they let us know soon. Are you planning to working a job during the program?

No I doubt I'll be working a job... I have friends that have been in Nursing school at UM and FIU and they say its a lot of work and a lot of study time.... honestly I want to do the best I can, and pass, so my main focus will definitely be school.... and you? Will you be working?
