I have been looking into the Baldy view ROP lvn program in ontario CA. It's only $3000 for everything. I called them and they said you have to take and pass a test, and the top scoring candidates will then be invited for an interview. Has anyone completed this program? Is the test really hard? the lady said they get about 500 applicants every term, and they only chose 30. It sounds like chances might be very slim.

hi,
i went through the baldy view program in 2005-2006 the test is basically high school level math and english type questions with some medical terminology. they do get over 400 apps but the price can’t be beat includes everything books, uniforms and if you live in san bernardino county you may get it partially or totally paid for by the county including money for gas like most of my class did. its a long course 16 months but i had great experiences there the clinical sites were great too kaiser, loma linda medical center, totally for kids, pomona hospital etc good luck

Hi Sparkle, I finished Baldy View in May, took the NCLEX last month and passed. They have a good NCLEX pass rate. The school is great with great sites. The entrance test was not bad. I have been out of school for many years and took and passed the test. Once you pass the test and they give you the paperwork with what you need like the physical. Get it done as soon as you can and get it turned in. Good Luck to you.
