Background checks

I applied for nursing school last week in Ohio! I went under a background check and application and paid my fee but I purchased a background check for myself just to see what all it contains but my playing matter turn into a world of fire and heart ache! Will I be able to become a Nurse or Lpn with an active warrant for Fraud in Michigan. My old college room mate claimed I stole money from her an apparently pressed charges with I wasn't aware of please HELP

Active warrant needs to be dealt with immediately regardless of nursing school. Any traffic offense you are pulled over for will show the warrant and you will be arrested.

It's been almost three years , I have got into an accident, speeding ticket and appeared in court without anyone telling me about this

This needs to be addressed immediately by calling the city/ county/ state of Michigan where the warrant was issued and find out what needs to be done to resolve this. Nursing schools, clinical sites, and BON will have an issue with this.

You may be able to get the warrant quashed if you call and handle it. It won't just go away so it's best to contact the issuing jurisdiction and deal with it.

Regardless, you're not getting into nursing school with an active warrant.
