BA to BSN

Published

I have a BA in education and wanting to get my BSN. What are my options? I don't know where to start!

You can go for an accelerated BSN, get your ADN & bridge to BSN or you could try for your entry level masters. Start looking at programs in your area, talking to admissions counselors, & taking required per req courses.

I have a BS in Biology, and I just got accepted to an accelerated BSN program in Texas. It's only 15 months long.

I would do a search in your state...I know I have a few options for accelerated BSN but I dont see any Entry Level Masters in Florida. Here it seems to be about 3 full time semesters after the prereqs are done. Otherwise, the traditional BSN adds only another 2 semesters if you have all the main classes done.

Unless you did the basics (anatomy, physiology, etc.) you will most likely have to start there. After that accelerated BSN is the best option unless money is an issue. If so an ADN at a community college might be cheaper.
