AWHONN convention

Wondering if anyone is attending. Also I do not currently work in OB,but I really want to go and get the experience. I am sure there is much to learn. Will I gain anything from going even if I don't work OB?

Great Question!!! I am actually considering going, I'm going to be a GN in OB. Just wondering if my job will let me attend right after orientation. It sounds like a great experience and with having a BSN, I have been told by many nursing professionals how important conventions are.

I am planning to go and am super excited. There is no harm is learning more. It is expensive but it is also another thing to add to your resume when applying to an OB unit. I think there is going to be a ton of great info there!:lol2:

WHen and where? I probably won't go because we'll be crazy busy this summer, but I'd like to go at some point in the near future.

THis years conference is June 12-16, with additional pre/post conference days. It is in Nashville. Can't wait to see the sun!! SHould be good, this will be the first time I've gone, really looking forward to it.
