Awaiting acceptance....

I should know before Christmas if I got into my nursing program. The suspense is killing me! Anyone else waiting? If you got in, how did you find out? phone call, email, letter?? Have a great day!

Ah yes the waiting game. I was fine for like 2 weeks after submitting my application but it slowly began to eat away at me once the notification date neared. On the day of notification I couldn't sleep at all and kept checking my email repeatedly, after not checking it for about half an hour I saw an email in my inbox. All I did was read the first 5 words, Accceptance! Don't think I've been so happy before! Just keep faith and I'm sure you'll get in!

Thank you! I am keeping the faith for sure. It's a hard wait, though. Thankfully, this is such a busy time of year it's a good way to keep my mind off of it. ;)

I hate waiting, patience is definitely not a quality that comes naturally to me. I submitted my application for the ABSN program at Duke in October, and we don't hear back from them until March, so I'm a bit envious you'll get your admissions decision before Christmas!

I hope it's good news for you, though - it would make a lovely Christmas gift! Best of luck!! :)

I won't find out till MAY. UGH. They used to let us all know in Feb. (I am in an LPN-RN bridge program) but so many LPN's were failing out of required pre-reqs spring semester following acceptance (They would give you tentative acceptance before you completed all pre-reqs if you were to be done that next semester with them) that they pulled that. So now, I will simmer in anxiety till MAY. I am dying. I also have to take the ATI Comprehensive PN (essentially NXLEX PN) 1/5/16 and they aren't giving out the minimum score as we are the first class to take it. I am about to puke lol.

Oh and I applied the FIRST week of November and have to wait till May. I will be notified through e-mail.
