AVC 2021 Spring Nursing Program

Hello!!

I've noticed that there was not a thread for the AVC Spring 2021 nursing program and I wanted to make one so that anyone can share their thoughts and to give encouragement to anyone who needs it.

I've personally used a previous thread (AVC Fall 2020) which helped me figure out what I needed to do before I entered the program and the thread answered any questions that I had.

So don't be shy, ask any questions. If you have any questions for me I'd love to answer them. I hope all the best for everyone.

Sincerely,

TotallyARealNurse

Did you to email them ask about it? They might’ve done the same to me. My points were at 55 without my CNA cert. I got rejected also btw. Such a bummer. I haven’t received a denial letter, I’m just assuming I didn’t get in since everyone else got theirs already.

I did, I’m waiting to hear back from them. Yeah they said that it was still too early to receive rejection letters. I’m assuming after they get all the responses and the second wave goes out and they close up that they’ll send out rejection letters.

I already rescheduled my TEAS to retake it. Don’t give up!

I did not. Apparently they failed to add my CNA into my application so they counted me at 55 points. ??‍♀️

They also said that it’s too early to have received rejection letters for this cycle.

Oh no! So are you not getting in? I had 75 points and never received an acceptance email so I’m wondering if they failed to count some of my points too

So you are waiting for a response to see if they for sure did not count your CNA? Or was that just an assumption?

So I emailed Lisa Lugo and she told me that acceptance letters are not done being sent out so there’s still hope for those that haven’t heard anything!??

Has anyone received a denial yet?

I haven't

Hello everyone! I’m trying to apply for fall and I just want to ask if anybody knows if a co-worker can fill out the language proficiency verification form.

thank you.
