First if you come from the Phillipines you need to do bridging course....after the assessment by the AHPRA the national nursing board. After you have paid the big fee for assessment and for the registration if you pay for and complete a very expensive bridging course.

So in a nutshell it could be months to years before you actually register and there are many variables before you get there which if anybody is paying first time assessment fees and first time registration fees for you will have to hope that you get into and pay and pass a bridging course and get full-time work before they recoup any money.......unless they are asking for a fee before you even start, which I personally would not pay. Registration is only with our nurses board no-one can do it for free.

I have not viewed the site, but the assessment fee and registration is the 'cheap part' of finally becoming a Registered Nurse in Australia....now if they were going to pay for a bridging course then that is another matter.

It is stated that an 'opportunity'may be given to become an Australian Registered Nurse.....first thing

1. There is no way can you have the opportunity to become an Australian Registered nurse unless you are Australian, so it is impossible to become an Australian Citizen in 4 months, need sponsorship, 2 years, then become permanent resident, then apply for citizenship....takes at least 2 - 3 years.

2. From applying to be assessed to AHPRA has been taking 4-7 months so far....this does not give you registration but assessment....if you are Filipino, you then apply to a bridging course that takes 8 weeks to 4 months..then you can apply to be registered nurse in Australia..so already you are looking at at least......7 months at least and that is straight from assessment into bridging course, which of course does not happen.

It is rude of overseas organisations, to be keep advertising for people to become Australian Registered Nurses when that is the right of an Australian that has studied at university and registered as a nurse.

Though you are a professional, do your research, make up your own mind..
