hi I'm an Australian Cath lab RN who wants to work in the US. Will my cath lab experience in my country be recognized in the US.I heard that I need to have a US CCU experience.is it true?

May or may not I would image it will depend on the hospital

That is going to be a tough one to answer for you as a facility cannot legally offer you a job until you have gone thru the licensing process for here and have at least passed the NCLEX-RN exam. And being able to sit for that exam is going to be dependent on your training that you had in school, it does not base anything on what your skill level is now.

What do you mean by "recognized"? In pay? To get a job? If you can find a hospital to hire you, they will take into account all of your experience, however this may not be reflected by your pay level.
