August 2012 COT

So I just found out that I am in!!!!! I will be joining you all for Aug COT. Afterwards I will be going to Nellis.

Thanks for that information. We appreciate you being so helpful in guiding us. That is a concern of mine. Have any advise on the best elementary schools on and off base and that are close to BAMC? Also housing. any suggestions on best areas to look into. We have been asking around and got some suggestios but the more info we have we are better able to make an informed decision.

It does feel good. I haven't received orders but my recruiter says I will not receive orders until we have medically cleared. So right now I'm at a stand-still until this part gets done.

No girl, I haven't quit my job yet. I guess I'm still waiting for the right time. But honestly it's hard to focus, lol. It seems like time is winding down quickly though.

Hello all... Just wanted to say I've been following you all for a while just to watch the progress everyone has made and the long drawn out waiting it seems that most of you had... Congrats to all of you, the Air Force is the best branch ( my opinion) there is.... I will also be in the Aug COT class, and am pretty excited about it, and meeting all of you. I'm prior service both active (10 years) and then the guard (5 years) and now the reserves at Wright Patt... Will be a flight nurse after all the training is complete and believe me I cannot wait. I actually had my package all done for the NTP but got extremely frustrated with the whole situation and ended up talking to a reserve health care recruiter instead and well here I am. I will say I love the Air Force, I've gotten to do some amazing things in the past 15+ years and am totally psyched to see what my next adventure will bring...looking forward to meeting in Aug...
