Hello...I am pretty new here, although I have been "lurking" for a while.:) I am currently taking my pre-reqs at a local cc, with the goal of applying to nursing school in the next 2 years. My question is about taking Chem100 and Bio100 as prep for the TEAS...do you think it is necessary? Or could I do fine with just getting the study guides and taking sample tests online? I am currently taking a basic algebra class to brush up on my math skills and to prepare me for a higher math course. I just don't have time to waste and I would like to keep moving forward, but I also want to do well and not have to keep re-taking the test.
Also, do you think it's really necessary to take BIO100 to prepare for the higher BIOs? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello!
Usually General Bio (which is what I assume 100 is?) is needed for Anatomy, Physiology and Micro, so you'd probably have to take that anyways. Chemistry was also required for my program, and I took the Chemistry 102, which is a one-semester course of General Chem, Bio Chem and Organic Chem (intense!).
There is a lot of biology and chemistry on the TEAS from what I remember, but there's also a lot of "general" science stuff on there too. A study guide would be helpful, especially if you plan on taking the TEAS before biology or chemistry.
Good luck! :)
