what are some different aspects of nursing? or what you would define as aspects of your career.

This sounds like a homework assignment to me. Is it? Most people here are reluctant to do people's homework for them outright -- but are happy to comment on ideas that you propose.
Also, it's a little hard to answer your question without a little more information. Can you "flesh it out" a little?

Hi
Nursing is as diverse as the people and the places that we leave. I have to agree with the previous posts, sounds like homework. If you can narrow it down a little maybe we/I can help.
Let me know. I have 2 kids in college and I still help them with there homework (especially their papers) LOL.
No actaully it's not a homework assignment, I'm not even in nursing school yet, I'm not applying til fall '09. I was more reseraching then anything i wanted to get some peoples opinions.
I guess what i was looking for was more was beyond paitent care, what is there ascept wise? Besides just helping people and making them better.
Do you mean ... "What types of nursing jobs are there away from doing bedside care of the sick in hospitals?"
If that's what you are looking for, then I suggest you browse the various forums here. There are many possibilities: teaching nursing, teaching patients, management and administration, research, legal nursing, nursing informatics, etc. Most of the major specialties and role functions have specific forums here on allnurses.
I know different jobs. I mean more, when a nurse goes through in a run of a day besides piatent care.
