Hello everybody!!
I am a urse from the philippines. I already received a letter from national visa center that my priority date is october, 2006. Included are my case number, pettioner's name, etc.. Now, I have heard that all visas have been used up. Im wondering if this means that it will take me more years before getting my visa and work in the U.S.
Please give me more information if anyone of you knows abouit it. I will appreciate it so much..

This is all to do with retrogression and unfortunately at the moment everyone is affected. No one knows how long it will last but hopefully things will start moving soon, plenty on here to read about it. People from Phillipines, India, China and Mexico are some of the hardest hit as demand is very high. Really hard to say at the moment how long it will last but hopefully some movement could be seen near summer. For people already waiting for Packet 4 things will move a bit faster than those just starting as you will be issued visa before them

On average, from the Philippines, it is at least a year before you will be in the US, the average wait time for an interview when there are visas is four months there. The I-140 submission is just the first step of the process, for you it is just beginning.
