Arnett test....

Hello everyone......my last semester in nursing will begin next week! yeaaaaa! :) My question is has anyone taken the Arnett test? We will be taking that test our 2nd day back and I'd like to know if it is similar to NCLEX or HESI? I've been practicing NCLEX questions but wasn't sure if that was enough to prepare for this test....? Thanks for your help!

I took it too. It's just like a HESI and the NCLEX. Studying NCLEX questions should be enough. Just make sure that you pay attention to the parts that you did poor on during the Arnett when studying for the NCLEX. The results will tell you what areas you need to study and what areas you have a good grasp on. Good luck.

While they do show areas you need to study in, they certainly do not predict how you will do on the NCLEX. One of my fellow classmates scored the highest in the class yet she failed her boards the first time. My daughter and I were in nursing school together. I did pretty good on them but my daughter did not do good at all on the Arnett tests but we both passed with 75 questions. I wouldn't stress over it.
