Are the paper or computer net test equally hard?

Published

I took the net test Tuesday on paper. I feel like I probly made a 98 on the math but the reading was horrible. I have to wait 2 weeks to get the results back. I am going to go to another testing location Monday and take it on the computer (just incase I failed the reading) and I will know my results instantly. Does anyone know if one is easier than the other?

While I have not taken the NET test on paper, I found the computer-based version to be very easy. I believe it has much to do with my comfort level with computers.

If reading is not your strongest point, a computer based test may not be the best route. The glare from the screen/room lights etc may distract you.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck! :)

i also took the paper version, didn't know there was a computer version with instant answer! darn that woulda been nice rather then being on pins and needles! anythehoo, just wanted to tell you that you are not alone on not liking the reading part. i hated it, not that it was difficult but it was imo boring as all get out! i remember reading about a bear and a crocidile and how they hibernate. the whole time thinking "can't this be interesting?!?!?" lol i hate to read something if it is boring so i had to force myself to concentrate on it! now give me my a&p book or my micro book and i read it and actually liked it (i am a bit strange maybe??) but i found it interesting.

good luck on your results!

I just took it via the computer. Man, the reading part was awful. I am glad I got to take it on the computer. Gotta love instant results. But I do think the paper might be easier. Everything is right in front of you and you don't have to press any "previous" buttons, get any errors, etc.

Never taken the NET but I would assume they are equal. Some people have preferences though and might reflect their test taking . (Example, I dislike scantrons and usually do worst with them then written exams).

Best wishes to you.
