Even as an LPN, an RN program is going to require a clinical portion- there will be no 100% online option. It's possible you may be able to find a program that offers the classroom portion online. Can you start with the list of approved programs in the state and then research which of those offer what you need?

My co-worker is now battling a $7000.00 bill for 1 semester at Med Life. She was told that she was fully approved for financial aid, and that there would not be any out of pocket expenses with the exception of her books. She completed 1st term, took finals and everything. Received a phone call a few days ago that she owes $7000.00 because she did not qualify for any aid.
She then called FAFSA herself, and was told by 3 representatives that FAFSA already issued the entire tuition amount to the school and that she should not owe anything. So it seems they received their money from FAFSA, but want to charge her even more money.
She is now in search of an accredited school so that she doesn't run into this problem again. I would not trust this school.
It depends on the location. I know that West palm beach requires you to come in once a month Monday-Thursday.
They were recently approved for FAFSA, people I know paid cash because the school wasn't approved for FAFSA.
FAFSA wouldn't approve $7000, they usually approve $3,000, especially for one semester. The max for one year is about $5,200. Your friend probably had to get a loan to cover the rest and that's why they are charging her.
This school is a great school, especially for those looking to get into LPN-RN Program. Could be pricey but this is a great school for a LPN who can't go to school 5 days a week due to work and other responsivities, I highly Recommend it.
Medical prep Institute is online base but I didn't hear good things about this program. I heard people complete the program but can't graduate because they fail to pass their school's 7 exits! Yes, 7 exits! These exits are written by the teachers in school so its not like a HESI test. Which makes it almost impossible to complete the program, hence why they enroll over 200 people every 3 months but send 40 people to the boards each year.
