Are you considered a pre nusing student if you are just taking prerequisites

I know this sounds like a silly question but this question has been nagging me for a while ,and I would like to know what the answer; Because I want to know if it's safe to say I'm a pre nursing student when anyone asks what I'm doing in college . Are you considered a pre-nursing student when you start nursing school ,or is it when you are doing nursing prerequisites ?

    Absolutely! Pre, meaning before. So before nursing you take pre reqs, which make you a pre nursing student í ½í¸„í ½í¸„

    Correct. You're a pre-nursing student prior to being accepted into nursing school and a nursing student after that.
