are you applying for Spring 2014?

I applied at county (my first choice since I work for the county), LACC ( I just went to the info session today and made an appt with the counselor), LA TRADE TECH ( I think Spring 2014 is closed now but who knows right?), PCC ( I havent heard from that school. I turned in my TEAS V score already).

To be honest Im really scared! Its very competitive and its a long process! But lets be positive! Hope to meet you!

So what are you doing right now while waiting for the application? What's keeping you busy?

Hi there! I have applied to 5 schools. COC, pasadena, harbor, moorpark, pierce, and la county college of nursing and allied health. I have about a 3.5 gpa as well, but I failed my teas test the first time and got an 80% the second time. Unfortunately, 2/5 schools so far told me they only take first attempt scores. This leaves me with 3 schools left. I am so scared!! I am hoping the other schools will take my second attempt-my best attempt. I am patiently waiting for an email or something!!!

Don't lose hope! If Spring 2014 is not for you, then there's Fall 2014. Stay positive! We're all waiting here patiently. Cheer up! ?

Just El Camino? I thought Spring 2014 is closed already? I mean they already selected students for spring? My coworker said he got in already for spring 2014. He also said that he is currently taking Micro. So does el camino take you in even if you have 1 class in progress? Im confused...

Hi @jofapcastillo! Well, this is actually a transitionary period for me - so for the first time in a long while, the only thing that I am doing at this point is "waiting!" lol Well, I help take care of my elderly father on the weekends and have kiddos to tend to daily. :) What about you?

Im a CNA at LAC USC (county hospital). That's why I wanna get into the county school so I can save up money ?. But if I dont get in, that's ok. I know God has good plans for me and for us future nurses. I have a 3 year old boy and husband who is very supportive. Hopefully we both get in somewhere, right? ☺
