Applying next week to MDC for Fall 10 but have Qs due to upcoming surgery.

I know I am an early applicant, LOL. But I am having surgery in late December and need to get all these little things done, since I won't be able to drive til the end of Spring and will be SUPER busy during that time with my last prerqs + physical therapy!!!! I am trying to organize myself as much as I can and have already filled out the F/T and P/T applications. Tuesday I will be paying the fee then take it to the Med Campus. I am so anxious already lol.

I wanted to ask any MDC students, how did you prepare before getting accepted? What is the name of that first aid class we have to take? Also, what were the immunizations you had to get and how expensive were they? Anything else I should know about? :o) Any one else here planning to apply for Fall '10?? I hope we get in. :heartbeat

Oh, and I also wanted to know what first semester is like. I will be done with physical therapy by then(By April), but I am afraid if I will have to strain my knees too much. I really don't want to hurt myself(sounds like a long time of recovery but for some reason I take FOREVER to heal.... I just started running again from my last knee op and I got surgery LAST sept!) but I heard clinicals start in the second week of school???

Any input is appreciated!
