Apply to Nursing School

Hi Everyone!!

How many of you are working on apply to your schools currently??

I took my TEAS exam about a month ago. I submitted my application to UPMC Mercy Hospital SON in Pittsburgh. They told me it would be about 1-2 weeks and then I will be hearing from them on the decision. This is the most nerve wracking wait I've had!!!! The people I spoke to on the phone though seemed very nice and said they were excited to speak with me again, so hopefully that's a good sign!

Where are you applying to? Is anyone else applying to Mercy for Fall 2018??

    I'm applying to the accelerated RN program at Midwestern State University, and I feel you on the nerve racking wait. The school said they would notify everyone on acceptance by March 15th. However, I'm going nuts because two people on all nurses have said they were accepted. One person said they were emailed an acceptance on Friday and another said she was emailed hers a week ago! Good luck to you!

    I remember when I had to wait. And hey, if any of you do not get accepted for some reason, don't give up!!! Just reevaluate the application criteria and correct whatever is preventing you from being accepted. I wasn't accepted my first go round, so I just thought i'd share that with you all. Good Luck!!!
