when do you apply for nursing school?

Published

i already have a business degree and have been in the process of taking all my science prereqs one at a time to apply for nursing school. i am currently in anatomy with lab and have micro and physiology left to take . i will take one of them in the fall, but would love to apply for the following fall which means my application has to be in by next jan, however, since i will still have a science left i wondered if i can still apply. how does that work? do you just apply with the current grades you have?

It varies from school to school. Some want all of the prerequisite courses completed before you apply; others will offer conditional offers of admissions based on successfully completing the remaining courses before the start of the program.

Check the FAQs of the programs that you are considering. This is a common question and usually addressed there on their websites.

My school lets you apply but you have to prove you passed the required classes before you start.

I'd check with the school because it really varies.

Good Luck!!

ALL nursing schools are different in the time that you could apply. Some require that you apply 12 months in advance up until the first day of class, some require that you apply between certain months. So, basically in order foryour question to be answered-do the research at the schools that you would like to attend-that is the only way that you will know when u can apply for that nursing school.
