hi! i'm a california nclex passer and i want to obtain a vermont license since CA doesn't issue licenses to nclex passers without an SSS number. someone told me to apply for endorsement at the vermont board of nursing website. i saw the application form and one of its requirements is a photocopy of my current out of state license. problem is, i don't have a license. what should i do if i want to apply for endorsement?

Since you don't actually have a CA license, you cannot apply for endorsement in VT (or any other state). You need to apply for licensure by examination, and ask CA to send your NCLEX results to VT. You will still need to meet all of VT's other requirements for foreign-educated nurses.
I am moving your post to the International Nursing forum, since that is where we try to keep all questions related to immigration and licensure/practice in another country.

Suggest you do a search, much and I mean much has already been written on this subject. There is one https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/california-initial-licensure-253147.html
