Applicants for FALL 2010 UHM program

Hello everyone and congrats on your acceptance into UHM's nursing program! I am finishing up my sophomore year at WMU, the majority of students accepted into the nursing program have a 3.8 gpa or higher. I have taken chemistry, principles of biology, organismal biology, anatomy ecd. So far I have a 3.099 gpa. I'm wondering what the majority of people accepted into UHM's program have, and if I even stand a chance. I'm looking to transfer school after next year!

Hi there! Congrats, I see you were accepted! I'm currently a sophomore at WMU and my gpa is a 3.1 cumulative, like yours! I also have my cna license and have been volunteering at a hospice. At WMU I cannot manage to get into the nursing program! Most students accepted have a 3.8 cumulative gpa. I'm wondering if you think I will get into UHM's program, and how you like your classes so far!

-I was wondering, as a future applicant, what were the classes that you all put on your application. I know that they've changed the pre-req for the for the program last year. From what i've heard, applicants are given a little more free reign on what to pick for certain pre-reqs. I just really need a little direction here as i've finished most of the pre-reqs on the application for the programn!

I think I used ZOOL 142(PHYL 142) and ZOOL 141 Lab....I was lucky that I received A's in those.

CHEM 152 (I might have used this instead of ones above....can't remember...)
