i tried asking this in the pre-student forum, and ironically didn't get any responses with a clear answer. does anyone know, for an apa formatted paper, when you include your college on the front page do you also include the state it resides in? this is the first time i have had to use this format and the examples i have confuse me a bit.
example from my text: hunger college of the city university of new york
mine is college of the desert, so would it read college of the desert or college of the desert of california or college of the desert, ca?
thanks for taking the time to read my post.

If it were me, I would put College of the Desert I know APA format drives people
Desert, CA
crazy. As a matter of fact, I believe that is how I used to do it. It was so long ago.

You don't have to include the location unless your instructor wants you to.

Here is a great APA formatting program that you can d/l. It's only $24.95, and it is a great program. It's saved me many hours of trying to format my papers myself by weeding through that awful APA handbook.

I hope it was a typo on your part, because I sure hope that there isn't an example paper with an error on the TITLE page! Haha, it's Hunter College. But a hunger college would be pretty funny.
