Isn't it you are already studying at Our Lady of Fatima? Are you planning to transfer to another school? No offense but I'm just curious.

Hi future nurses! I'm Marie, a 2nd year Nursing student at the Our Lady of Fatima University in Lagro. I'm a shifter from FEU and PNU where I took up Education. I've always seen myself being an English teacher but when my son left for the US, I had a change of heart. I never thought much about Nursing or nurses before but now I look up to them because this is not an easy course. I think I will enjoy being a nurse because reading from posts on this site really gives me inspiration. I can't wait to be a nurse in the US and join my entire family there. Goodluck to us Nursing students and God bless!

yes i am thinking of transferring if it will speed up my studies.

i'm at fatima now but i hate the fact that i wasn't given intro to anatomy last sem so i can't have healthcare 1 yet. i didn't know it was a pre-req. some of my friends was given the subject so i am behind now, i just learned of this, this sem. it also sucks that some were given intro and healthcare1 in one sem, i spent a good 5 hours begging to get both so i'm not behind... but didn't get it still. they even told me that if i could show proof someone was given both subjects in one sem that they would give it to me too. i brought proof but fatima didn't honor their word. so right now, my 2nd year subjects are almost all taken but i don't have healthcare yet so i have a good 8 semesters to go before i graduate. sorry if i am in a rush but my son is in the states growing up without me and i would do anything legal to be with him the fastest way possible. my son living here in the philippines is out of the question. a professor also said that some schools don't even have intro to anatomy so i was thinking maybe there's a better way than graduating from fatima. i'm willing to study every summer but not all nursing majors are available at fatima during the summer... anyone know anything that can help me? thanks.

I think it'd be better for you to bring a copy of your trancript at lanting. That way they can assess you properly. Good luck.

Do old Lanting students know good, cheap and safe rented room, bedspace or shared dorms? Please send me a private message, thank you.

HEY guys! Im a graduate of Lanting Batch 93. I was in DCLCN past summer doing some paperworks for my license reciprocity (NY TO CALIFORNIA ).I was surprised, it was fast. Im PSYCHE NURSE and OR NURSE from NY to North Carolina and currently settled here in California. I am really grateful to this school that i was accepted after being "Kicked OUt" for not meeting the required grade on the " other school". Hey, I got Prc, NCLEX, without a glitch....

hey promdi!

Im from seattle but im planning on going to school at Lanting. Since you were able to work in the states after graduating Im guessing that Lanting is accredited and accepted at the states? That is one of my biggest concerns and how the program is of course. Was it a hard process to go through to get licensed in the states?

Be aware that CA now requires the local license be taken and passed and that there is approximately a five year expected wait for a chance at a green card for the US.

Things have changed considerably in the past two years in the US.

Best of luck to you.
