Anyone who has gone to CSCC?

Anyone who has gone through Columbus State or is attending now...can you provide any information on what the uniform requirements (styles, colors, etc) are?

I'll be going for the traditional ADN program.

Hi! Am I in my first quarter right now and we have white scrub tops with the cscc nursing patch on the shoulder and navy blue bottoms with an optional lab coat. We had to order them through Falgstaff, I think that is what it was called. And white nursing shoes. ;) Have you already applied?

I will be applying in Jan 2008 when the next application process opens up.

I keep seeing people in all blue (the lighter blue), all green, all navy, and all pink/mauve/rose whatever that color is. Are those nursing students also? I assumed you maybe had your choice of those color schemes.

No, I don't think so. I know that there are dental assistants that wear an all blue scrub, and there are other healthcare classes, but the RN must be the white with blue pants, white shoes. They were really strict on that.

Specializes in Med-Surg, LTC, Rehab, HH.

The mauve/rose is the LPN students at CSCC.

Specializes in ER/Trauma, research, OR.

Good luck the best advice I can give you is form a study group of 5-8 students and do all of your assignments together. Also 90% of all test questions come directly from the notes so if you are not the perfectionist type just study the notes save your reading time for your family, you get so little free time anyhow.

:lol2: Also always remember C = RN it does not matter if you have a 4.0 or a 2.5 your both RN's.

When do Jan RN applications find out if they got in?

Hi sassy! When I applied in Jan. 06 I didn't get my letter until late June! I know, such a long time! Like we don't wait enough! Good luck to you!

Anything different from anyone else? WOWOWOWO, that's a long wait!

I've heard the letters do not go out until June too.....that's when I got my rejection letter last year :(

I'm sorry. :-( What # were you to apply?

Last year I was confimation number 753!!! They put me in priority group 2! This year I was confirmation number 46....we'll see what happens. How did you do?
