I am currently pregnant and I am due in September. I am already in a part-time BSN program that allows us to take classes at night and clinicals on the weekend. I have four semesters left of the program. I am wondering if I am taking on too much by attending working full-time, attending classes at night with a newborn. I have a support system that consist of my husband and plenty family members. Also, I have a four year old son that keeps me busy.

I'm missing something - are you asking about actually taking the little one TO class with you?
I do read that Moms (even the new ones) manage school and mommyhood. Some better than others ...

I've read of it being done although it will be very difficult. It will help that your program is part time

Good luck. I'm going to say remember when your four year old was a newborn. Really remember.
No, I was just wondering if I was doing too much by continuing my classes with a newborn especially since they are night classes.
I would think so but that's just me. Some people handle newborns better than others. I wasn't even working or going to school and it was terrible. I love him to death but I don't miss that

My best friend had a baby in the middle of nursing school (full time) with a four year old as well. She didn't have family close by, just her husband and me. It's totally doable!

I'm in FNP school online, clinicals during the week and work nights on te weekend. Wife and I have a 12 wk old, zero family in the area. It's tough. You can do it if your husband is up for it
