hello, i'm sure you all have "been there and done that", when it comes to the teas test. however i need your help!! i have been out of school for several years now and i have just decided to pursue nursing, simple right? wrong! i have to take the teas test in order to enter into the program. the only problem is that although i was an honors math student, i have been exposed to a math class in a very long time. i need tips, website, hope and whatever you can give me. i need to pass!!

It had been 20 yrs since I opened a text book. I did wellin my prereqs and got mostly As. When it came time to schedule my TEAS, I got as many study books as possible and prepared for abouttwo months in advance. The TEAS has a study guide that is very similarto the exam itself.Have you already taken all the required prereqs for the nursing program?

wabashcannon 15 Posts Jan 28, 2009 I didn't do so well on the Teas, but I got into an RN program at my local community college anyway. It wasn't really hard at all. I just studied off of the Teas book they sold at the school bookstore. When I took the test, I had been out of school for two years. My strongest area was in English because I've an English degree from my previous life. Scored quite low in math and science to be honest...down in the 80s, I believe, and I'm probably being generous. Just study hard. Mind you, a lot derives from common sense, so if you've got that, you've already got an advantage. Good luck.
