Any Suggestions?

I don't subscribe to AWHONN or any maternity-related nursing journals. I would appreciate any recommendations on recent journal articles that you think are fantastic concerning such subjects as breastfeeding, newborn care, comfort measures during labor, and postpartum care. Thank you for your assistance :)

I have to admit the JOGN is exceptional. If you could utilize that, you would receive much info and stay abreast of issues on those subjects you mentioned. I assume it is for teaching purposes, yes?

You can also try (for free) Medscape for Nurses and click on Women's Health issues. Many, many articles and up-to-date issues as well.

I receive daily updates from Medscape (WebMD) regarding OB-GYN/Women's Health. CME's, too

Besides the AWHONN journals, I enjoy MCN (Maternal Child Nursing).

From the few issues that I've seen, Midwifery Today and Journal of Midwifery (I'm not sure of the exact title here, but it's something like that) has had some interesting articles. Such as the article comparing which day of the week has more deliveries and how it's evolved over the last 50 years.
