I think I want to move to the Big Apple after I graduate, preferably the Tribecca area.
What major hospitals are near there? What is average starting salary for a RN?

hey raindrop. i live in queens (technically part of nyc, but not 'the city'). new grads make at least $60k. but consider your cost of living (high, to say the least). downtown (closer to tribeca area) is nyu, beth isreal, st vincents. those are the major ones. there's plenty uptown. generally speaking, they are all a subway ride away, if that's your thing). your best bet is to find a roommate, or find out about housing thru the hospital. i know nyu and columbia and cornell (those are uptown) have housing, but it may take a while to get in. good luck!!
